You are eligible for referral credit when:

• The friend you referred has consigned one or more items with a list price of $200+ using your unique referral code, and it was received and accepted by our retail team. If the item is rejected due to condition, failure to comply with our Designer Directory, or any other reason as stipulated by our retail team, it will not count as a successful referral.
  
• Your friend must be a first-time consignor with The RealReal (they can’t have consigned with us previously).

We accept items from hundreds of brands — you can see a full list in our Designer Directory. Currently, an item must be listed at $200 or more to qualify for referral credit, but this policy is subject to change.

After your friend consigns an item with a list price of $200+ and it goes live on The RealReal, you will get a notification via email that your $200 credit is ready to use. You will also see the credit reflected in your TRR account. Your $200 site credit is eligible on any purchase and will expire 14 days from issue.

No, you can invite as many friends as you want! You’ll receive a new $200 credit for each friend you successfully refer. 

Just a couple! Your referral must be genuinely new to consigning with us (no prior consignments). No self-referrals or creating accounts for others. We want to celebrate real connections bringing new consignors into our community!
