Terms and Conditions
Your participation in The RealReal’s “Real Partners” program (the “Program”) is subject to these terms and conditions (“T&Cs”) and by registering for the Program, you agree to be bound by these T&Cs. The RealReal reserves the right to amend these T&Cs in its sole discretion without notice to you and as more fully described below. By continuing to participate in the Program, you agree to such amended T&Cs.
- You will earn Program rewards (“Rewards”) for eligible consignors you refer to The RealReal (“Referred Consignors”).
- Only (i) “new” consignors who have never had an item accepted for consignment by The RealReal, and (ii) “lapsed” consignors who have not had an item accepted for consignment in the last 24 months before being referred qualify as Referred Consignors for which you may be entitled to receive a Reward.
- Rewards are calculated based on the sold value of the Referred Consignor’s consigned items sold during the 120 days following the date on which the Referred Consignor’s first consigned item was listed for sale by The RealReal (the “Reward Window”).
- Reward thresholds and payment levels can be found at the top of this page under the How Much You'll Earn Section. Both the Reward threshold and the payment levels are subject to change at any time in The RealReal’s sole discretion without notice to you and with immediate effect.
- No Reward is due unless the minimum Reward threshold is met for an individual Referred Consignor.
- Rewards will be paid by check only. You must complete a Form W9 to receive payment and will receive a Form 1099 tax document the following year.
- Payments will be issued on the 15th of the month following the end of the Reward Window or the first business day thereafter.
- The maximum payout for any single referral is $20,000.00.
- Business sellers are not eligible to participate in the Program.
- Family and household members of TRR employees are not eligible to participate.
